Daily Maintenance and Care of High-Temperature Dust-Removal Bags
2026-06-12
In typical applications, high-temperature dust‑removal bags have a service life of about one year. However, depending on the specific operating conditions, the actual lifespan may vary, allowing for effective maintenance of the equipment’s dust‑removal efficiency and extended operational life.
1. During operation, if abnormalities have already occurred, it is recommended to record the pressure differential across the ash‑removal chamber and the flow rates at its inlet and outlet at regular intervals. Should any abnormal conditions arise, appropriate and effective measures should be promptly implemented to address them from multiple angles.
2. Regularly inspect the electrical and pneumatic components of the dust collection bag to ensure they are functioning properly; periodically check the quality of the compressed air used by the pneumatic components, ensuring that the compressed air is dry and clean.
3. The daily task team must conduct a mandatory inspection of the ash‑discharge status in the dust‑collection hopper to ensure that the accumulated dust does not exceed one‑third of the hopper’s capacity.
4. Emissions should be monitored at all times and in all places. If persistent ash‑laden plumes are observed emanating from the chimney, this indicates a problem with the flue gas system; if bag‑filter failures occur repeatedly, an immediate investigation and corrective action must be undertaken.
5. Regularly check the working pressure of the compressed air used for single‑pulse cleaning, and ensure that the dust‑removal bag’s blow‑off pressure remains within the specified range.
6. Conduct regular inspections to verify the effectiveness of single‑pulse boiler blowdown and eliminate unnecessary maintenance, thereby preventing misalignment between the key components of the single‑pulse blowdown nozzle and the dust‑collection bag openings—caused by loose or displaced nozzles, misalignment, or disconnected fittings—which can lead to damage to the dust‑collection bags.
7. Regularly inspect whether the jet velocity in each chamber of the dust collector is obstructed by dust, and verify that the dust baffles are operating properly.
8. Regularly inspect the sealing of the dust bag compartment doors to ensure all seals are in good condition and there are no persistent leaks.
9. If you notice that the dust collection bag is worn or damaged, be sure to replace it immediately or seal the breach.
